How can schools help Rob’s Rescues?
JUNIOR BETA CLUB MEMBERS : use your volunteer hours to collect food, toys and supplies for animals in need in the community.
This Middle School Beta Club member is a frequent supporter of Rob’s Rescues and we enjoyed handing over a huge amount of food and supplies collected by her in the community to the Cherokee County Animal Shelter.
DOES YOUR SCHOOL HAVE A CARE FOR ANIMALS WEEK ?
Schools often have a “Care for Animals” week. If they don’t perhaps they should have? Rob and a friend made dog and cat treats to sell at lunch time in the cafeteria. Photos of adoptable pets were displayed and students bought a treat for one of the shelter pets or for their own pet at home.
This video is a student enterprise by Dillon Watson to create awareness of Rob’s Rescues mission. It was shown on the school’s news TV during the fundraising campaign and was instrumental in the kids getting excited about helping shelter animals. :
